When calling from a mobile phone you will need to say you are calling from South Australia. All calls are recorded.

You will need to advise:

  • The exact location of the crash
  • The make, model and registration number of the car
  • If the vehicle has been moved
  • The operator will dispatch the next available tow truck and provide you with the approximate time that it will arrive and the name of the tow truck operator.

Sea Rescue Adelaide
For assistance at sea, call the Radio Base by radio on VHF 16 or by 27mz radio on 27.88 between the hours of 7am and 7pm 7 days a week.

If you wish to use your Mobile phone you may call the Radio Base on 8295 5062 or 8295 5072 during the above hours.
* Anytime of day / night it is preferable you phone the Police on “131 444” or “000” who will coordinate the rescue groups in assisting you.
